Ch La Grange Clinet - Digital & Print Assets
I worked on a series of projects with Michel Haury, a winemaker from France. Mr. Haury makes Chateau La Grange Client, a delicious red wine from Cotes de Bordeaux. Ed Hardy Beer: WSWA Event Marketing
For the promotion of Ed Hardy Beer, Adam Saaks made an appearance at the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America conference. Saaks is known for his T-Shirt cutting (or modifications) that are done in-person and impromptu. At the Ed Hardy Beer promotional booth, Saaks cut Ed Hardy t-shirts on the spot while adding his own finesse. The women wearing Ed Hardy ended up with personalized Ed Hardy t-shirts from Saaks.

Luneau USA and Iconix have decided to release Ed Hardy Sparkling Tequilia for 2021, a low-calorie alcoholic drink to compete and capitalize on the booming popularity of Superbird, Onda, and White Claw. I designed can and box mockups of the Ed Hardy Sparkling Tequila.

Ed Hardy Wines Event Marketing
Project Description:
At the Mohegan Sun Wine And Food Fest of 2013, Luneau USA hosted a Don Ed Hardy meet-and-greet, where he signed t-shirts, greeted fans, and promoted his collection of wines.
At the wine tasting, the Luneau USA sales team and Don Ed Hardy promoted the Ed Hardy Red Sangria, Ed Hardy Lambrusco, and Ed Hardy Moscato.

Jules Loren Blue: In-House Brand
Project Description:
I designed the packaging for the Jules Loren Blue, a Wine Specialty Product. Jules Loren Blue consists of “Grape Wine With Natural Flavors And Certified Color.” The Jules Loren Blue was produced and designed to compete, and to capitalize on the success of Luc Belaire. I was responsible for the Jules Loren paperwork at the TTB, and the overall design process.

Jules Loren Rose: In-House Brand
Project Description:
I designed the Jules Loren White and Jules Loren Rose packaging: the labels and outside cartons. The Jules Loren is a “refresh” of the Bertier wines from years ago. Each bottle features a metallic neck, and a label with a glossy finish. Jules Loren Rose is a beautiful pink-hued sparkling wine with delicate aromas of strawberry and raspberry.

Jules Loren White: In-House Brand
Project Description:
The Jules Loren White Sparkling is one of the in-house sparkling wines from Luneau USA.
There are two line extentions for Jules Loren: Rose and Blue. I designed all three of the Jules Loren products.
There is 750ml version and a miniture version of the Jules Loren White.

LuneauUSA.com: PHP Development
Project Description:
I designed and coded the web site and app for LuneauUSA.com. This web site features the wine portfolio for the wine import company Luneau USA Inc. The web site is designed for the general public and the Luneau sales force. LuneauUSA.com includes a desktop version and web app version that can be used on iPhones (and Android devices).
Luneau USA: Mobile Development
Project Description:
The web app was created with the JQuery Mobile framework, PHP, mySQL. The main menu on the app can be accessed by swiping left or right. The images and tasting notes are fetched from a custom database. This web app emulates the behavior of a native application written in Objective C (animation, swipe, and touch effects).
When a vistor views LuneauUSA.com on a mobile device, such as an iphone or ipod, the visitor is redirected to the mobile version of the web site.

Project Description:
For the Ipad version of LuneauUSA.com, I used the javascript framework called “SimpleSplitView” along with Jquery Mobile, PHP and mySQL.
The Ipad app is based on HTML, CSS, and Javascript. This app emulates how a native Objective C app reacts, but with open source web technologies in mobile Safari, especially with animations and swipes.

Project Description:
There is log in section for the national sales manager, where the private wine labels for distributors are posted, and where price postings are listed for particular markets. PHP user sessions are used in this portion of the web site. I wrote queries in MySql to display price ranges for individual wines.
Michel Lelu Muscadet
I designed the Michel Lelu, Michel The Wolf, Muscadet label for Michel Haury, who owns Chateau La Grange Clinet, a small winery in Bordeaux, and Luneau USA Inc, small wine importer in Westport, Connecticut.
Concentrated flavors of green apple and pear are elevated by bracing minerality. A stellar wine for seafood pairing.

Pacific Edge Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot
Pacific Edge is a brand that Luneau USA currently owns, named after our bonded winery in San Miguel, California. Because of the high Euro to Dollar exchange rate (at the time), Luneau USA decided to produce this Cabernet Sauvignon in California. As a result, Luneau USA was able to produce an economical wine. Overall, the purpose of Pacific Edge was to supply an inexpensive, but high quality, wine to consumers.
Palace Production Internship
I worked in two divisions at Palace Digital Studios: Rabbit Ears and Palace Digital Productions. Palace Digital Studios is a post production companay in South Norwalk, CT. Rabbit Ears is the children book division of Palace, specializing in publishing Brothers Grimm adaptation books with audio CDs featuring celebrity voiceovers.
Internship At The Palace Digital Studios in South Norwalk, CT - Fall of 2004 - Academic Credit Through Sacred Heart University
Post-Production at the Palace
During my internship, I assisted the in-house graphic artist with the restoratoin of old book plates, using chemicals to separate acetate sheets that had to be scanned and retouched with a Macintosh computer.
Also, I assisted the secretary with inbound and outbound calls. I helped with moving boxes, and taking food orders from editors in the video editing suites. And, I did the occausional coffee run as production assistant intern.
Post-Production at the Palace
The second part of my internship involved learning about video production. The in-house client at Palace Digital Studios is the Outdoor Life Network. I observed and assisted the crew of The Road to Tour, a weekly television program about Le Tour de France featured on the Outdoor Life Network. My additional duties included helping the secretary staff sort and organize the Palace tape library. Also, I assisted the Director of Engineering with video and audio equipment. I would spend additional time in the video editing suites learning about production development.
Production Assistant at Life Shirt Shoot
Two Part Assignment: Production: a) Help the production crew with the shoot at the Fairfield Fire Department Training Center in Fairfield, Connecticut. Be responsible for getting signed releases from firefighter, protecting equipment, organzing tapes, logging footage. Post-Production: b) Retrieve selected shots from the footage taken at the shoot (ie. man in hazmat suit, etc).
The producer was Scott Bryce. The client for the Video News Release was Andrew Bahar, Vivometrics executive.
Patti LaBelle’s Good Life Wine
Patti Labelle is American singer, actress, entrepreneur, and renowned cook. Patti Labelle has written many cooking books, and has a popular cooking show on network TV. Ms. Labelle has managed to sell a variety of pies by promoting them on her cooking show, and having an exclusive partnership with Walmart. The goal of the “Good Life” private label is to sell Ms. Labelle’s licensed products, and wine through her media and retail network.

I worked on the concept art with the Playboy graphic design team. Originally, Playboy wanted to license their brand to wine labels. Playboy was repositioning themselves as a “lifestyle brand.” The labels were purposely covered, and left to the consumer's imagination. ;)

Reserve Maison Nicolas: Part One
The Nicolas wines labels are based on the iconic Nicolas French stores, which are often ubiquitous, and a staple of modern Paris life. These stores feature a red exterior, and often found in retail districts.
I designed the Reserve Maison Nicolas labels and Nectar label that fall under the Nicolas brand.

Reserve Maison Nicolas: Part One
Nectar is the mascot of Nicolas Wines. The famous cartoonist Dransy designed Nectar to promote the Nicolas shops in France. The first Nicolas posters date from the 1920s and have remained a popular example of vintage advertising. Nectar is a fictional delivery man for Nicolas stores, depicted carrying many wine bottles at once.
I designed the Nectar label for the Nicolas store anniversary.

Reserve Maison Nicolas: Part 2
Reserve Maison Nicolas is flagship brand from the Castel Group. “Nicolas” is a high quality inexpensive wine. For this project, I redesigned the labels for Reserve Maison Nicolas. Every few year the Nicolas brand is refreshed. I designed the labels, boxes, and case cards (the final slide.)

Project Description:
Luneau USA is working with Anthony Rodia, the upcoming comic who is known his zany characters, Uncle Vinny and Zia Lucia.
Known for his Italian-centric humor and charm, Rodia’s popularity has reached a meteoric rise on YouTube, with over one millions followers across all social media platforms, and the subscriber count keeps growing.

Public Relations And Advertising: M.A.D.D. Public Service Announcement
In my Public Relations and Advertising course, we had to put together a public service announcement video for M.A.D.D., Mothers Against Drunk Driving. The instructor assigned us in groups. We created our own mock public relations firm called “Screaming Chameleons.” For this assignment, we had to write, shoot, and edit a short piece to educate the youth about the dangers of drinking and driving.
Intro To Video Production Class:
Producing A Short Film
For Introduction to Video Production, I had to product a short film. Each student had to write, shoot, and edit his or her short. In the process, I learned how to use Final Cut Pro, Apple Motion, and Soundtrack Pro. Professor Greg Golda assisted me with the shoot. I casted students from Sacred Heart University, and I casted the rest if the crew from New England Casting and the Connecticut Film Office.
Encouraging Edgy Moves on the Dance Floor: PepsiCo Hosts Krumping Dance Competition, A Positive Event For Inner City Kids
Los Angeles - PepsiCO will introduce the first Pepsi Edge krumping dance competition. Krumping is an underground dance movement, which incorporates aggressive free style dances, costumes, and face paint. The participants in the competitions will have their fact painted with the Pepsi twirl, and the dance floor will be a larger Pepsi twirl. At this krumping dance competition, PepsiCO plans to launch its newest soft drink, Pepsi Edge, a blend of diet Pepsi and the original Pepsi.
The judges of the competitions will be hip op artists Missy Eliot and Black Eyed Peas. The winners with the edgiest dance movements will receive free cases of Pepsi Edge. PepsiCo plans to host more krumping dance events because this dance form is a positive activity for inner city kids. There are more children turning to krumping instead of gang violence and drugs. With these dance competitions, PepsiCO wants inner city children to know that they can have the winning edge in life.
Sidewise Point Of Sale
I designed the Sidewise Boxes for the Pinot Noir and Rose.
(loosely based on the popular wine movie Sidewise :-)
The Sidewise Pinot Noir packaging consist of a case card,
decorative box, and shelf talker. I included two 3d samples
of the Sidewise boxes. The designed the text for Sidewise
luggage strap. The final design is a Sidewise label
with metropolitan theme.
Straphanger Cabernet Sauvignon
Project Description:
Straphanger is an in-house brand developed and promoted by Luneau USA. Straphanger refers to a rider who used to grab onto an overhead “strap” while commuting in the early 1900s. The label is vintage, but with a modern look. Luneau USA Inc put together a railroad campaign, promoting the wines on the Long Island and New Haven lines.

Project Description:
I worked on the Paul Valmer and Diflora labels for Whole Foods. These brands are private wine labels under the "365" everyday value logo. The concept behind Paul Valmer and Diflora brands is to supply a high quality and inexpensive wines to the customer.

Whole Foods Holiday Top Ten Ad
I made a commercial for the Whole Foods internal network for Roger d’Anoia, one of Luneau’s private wine labels. I edited the footage in Final Cut Pro, Apple Motion, and Apple Soundtrack. I wrote the monologue, and Kathy Slinsky, my coworker, did the voice over. The still shot and animations were created in Apple Motion. I used existing footage from the Italian supplier. Roger d’Anoia was featured in Whole Food’s Holiday Top Ten Program.

Bon Ami Sparkling Wines
Project Description:
The Bon Ami Sparkling White and Rose are private labels for Whole Foods. I collaborated with Doug Bell and Devon Broglie, the national wine buyers at Whole Foods. The purpose of this project was to create a new sparkling wine collection for Whole Foods. Under the guidance of the Whole Foods wine buyers, I narrowed down the design with a series of art boards and mockups.

Project Description:
I worked on the Diflora Moscato and Diflora Pinot Grigio label designs for the Amazon-Whole-Foods Market brand. The Diflora brand is a private wine label under the "365" everyday value logo. The wines under the Diflora brand are high quality and affordable.
